In the current version, the vehicles are temporary.
Because they are still in a experimental version the system may evolve in the future.
The required items to have a vehicle in good condition :
Intervene and diagnose a Vehicle:
Make sure to position yourself in front of the vehicle and click and hold on the action key ("E" by default).
You can see the condition of the vehicle. Click on the parts you want to change and touch the front of the vehicle with the new object. It will be stored the same way as the furniture.

Battery | A battery in a good working condition allows to bring electric power to vehicles that allows the use of headlights, the electric opening to unlock the trunk (with maybe some loots inside it). |
Engine | An engine in good condition simply allows to make the vehicle work. Make sure it is in good condition or in the car hood. |
Wrench | Without this tool you will not be able to remove the engine. |
Jerrycan | The vehicles require gasoline to work. If you have a jerrycan, Right Click on the vehicles to siphon the car (you will need a hose to siphon them). And Left Click to put the gasoline on a vehicle. |
Flexible pipe | Without a flexible pipe you can not siphon gasoline from other vehicles. |
