Can't craft kevlar.

Hello. I can't craft kevlar. I tried to craft ropes and metal plates together and kevlar craft is shown in craft menu but i cant craft it. When i press on it to craft nothing happens.

hi. what do you mean by craft menu? the craft list?
as far as i know, you can't craft kevlar but you can repair it.
first you have to find a kevlar in boxes or wathever, then repair it with metal plates.

but maybe i'm wrong ...
